A village built on stilts in the middle of Lake Nokoué, often called the "Venice of Africa". Everything happens by pirogue: the floating market, school, visits. Boats leave from Abomey-Calavi, north of Cotonou. Ask before photographing people: it is a living village, not a backdrop.
