1. Data controller

The data controller is FORESIGHT Solutions Hub, publisher of GANAALE.

2. Data we collect

Your account: first and last name, email and/or phone number, password (stored encrypted, never readable), language, country of residence, and the date you accepted this policy.

Your activity: bookings, orders, rides, breakdown requests, payments (amount, status, reference; never your card numbers, handled by the payment provider), reviews, favourites, travel preferences, notifications.

Your location: only when it is used (“around you” services, a ride, breakdown help) and with your permission; during a ride, the driver's location is shared with their customer. We also keep your last known location, rounded to about 100 m and replaced by each new one (no history of your movements). It comes, from the most to the least precise, from your phone's location, the place of your services (ride, delivery, breakdown help), your business address if you are a partner, the country you chose for your dialling code, or failing that the country of your IP address. It tells us which country you are in, to show you the right services and, if you accepted our communications, to send you messages about where you are. The app installed on your phone carries a randomly drawn identifier: this location, its language and your choice about our messages stay attached to that app, even without an account or after signing out, without saying who uses it. If you declined our communications, we may ask again when the app collects your location, at most after 7, 30, 90 then 180 days. Your account's location is deleted with your account; the app's, on request.

Conversations with the assistant, and for partners: business details, file documents (ID document, NIN or NPI number, trade register, licences, manager's photo) and their wallet transactions.

Technical data: connection logs and a device identifier for notifications.

3. Why

To provide the service you ask for (performance of the contract): create your account, pass your bookings on to the partner, connect you with a driver or mechanic, collect payments and refunds, notify you.

For security and our legal obligations: verifying partners' identity, preventing fraud, keeping accounting records.

To improve GANAALE (legitimate interest), using aggregate measures. GANAALE does not sell your data and shows no targeted advertising.

4. Who sees it

The partner concerned receives what is needed for your service (name, phone, booking details). The GANAALE team accesses data according to their role, and every sensitive access is logged.

Technical providers act on our behalf: hosting, online payment, email, notifications and messaging. Some are located outside Senegal and Benin; these transfers are covered by their contractual confidentiality and security commitments. The current list is available on request.

5. How long

Your account: while it is active. Once deleted, it is closed at once; data linked to bookings and payments is kept for the period required by law for accounting records (ten years), then anonymised.

Conversations with the assistant: 24 hours for a visitor without an account, 180 days for an account, then anonymised. Voice messages are not kept.

A partner's file documents: for the duration of the relationship, then the legal limitation period.

6. Security

Exchanges are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are stored encrypted, partners' documents are kept in private storage, reachable through temporary links. Team access is protected by two-factor authentication.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to a processing, by writing to [email protected]. We reply within one month.

You can also contact the supervisory authority: in Senegal, the Commission de protection des données personnelles (CDP, www.cdp.sn); in Benin, the Autorité de protection des données personnelles (APDP, apdp.bj).

8. Cookies

The website only uses the cookies needed to keep you signed in (session). It uses no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics.

9. Minors and changes

GANAALE is intended for adults. This policy may change: the update date is shown at the top of the page, and a significant change is announced in the app.
